Post Thanksgiving Weekend

Thanksgiving was fun and not too busy! I cooked before everyone came over so it was smooth sailing...we actually went for a walk while waiting for everything to finish cooking and start warming back up...ahhhh! perfect to not have to rush around in the kitchen!!! We have eaten leftovers for both lunch AND dinner today - lol! And guess what's for dinner tomorrow?? ;)

Sunday blog hops

Hopping around this morning!!! :)

Went to Michael's yesterday - on the advice of the wonderfully creative momma that runs www.bentolunchbox.net to find cool cookie cutters for new upcoming lunch creations! Yay! I can not wait for more "bento"-style lunch boxes.

Hubby made dinner last night - whew! I LOVE to cook, but sometimes, it's nice to just have a night off!! Some days, I need the break!!!

Monday Morning Blog Hops

Hope everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable weekend!!! We cruised up the coast and spent Saturday in Santa Barbara! Nice and relaxing....although, we really needed more than a day if we were gonna truly get in all the shopping we originally had planned - lol.

I'm a Winner!

I generally don't hop on the weekend much, but I decided to "get in to it" so to speak for a little bit both yesterday and today! So fun - I found a couple of hops that I didn't even know about and I am very pleased about that.

I've Been Tagged!!

I've been tagged!!! I love it! :)

The money saving gurus over at Married With Coupons have tagged me in their blog! If you are looking for a great way (and a no nonsense approach!) to saving money, you must check out their site! The "Hubby's Point of View" section is a good read for their savings philosophy and puts the real idea of saving and why you should save into your head. Dawn's "How To" sections are informative and written like an email from a friend. The coolest thing about their blog is that it isn't some overwhelming practice and they aren't "starving" themselves so that they can save money - - they just find a way to save on all the things they do. So - a must read if you are interested in saving money in LOTS of ways.
