This review is for Shaklee's eye make-up remover. You might not realize this about me, but I am GIRLY (hahahaha!). I love makeup and beauty products. And while that's not something I generally discuss here, I love to find and try new products and see how they work for me! And, I LOVE eyeliner, eyeshadow, and mascara. But, I have always had a problem finding eye makeup remover that I truly like, so I was happy to try out Shaklee's remover and see what I thought.
First, the presentation itself is beautiful:
The packaging is so beautiful that I have left this remover (without the box!) on my bathroom counter. It just LOOKS like it's luxurious....
I wanted you guys to really be able to see how this works - because it's amazing. Here's me before using the makeup remover:
Then, I grabbed my usual remover and the Shaklee remover and I went to work using my usual remover on one eye and the Shaklee remover on the other:
You can see how the Shaklee remover took off so much more makeup off of one eye than my usual remover did... Also, if you look at my eyes, you can see the same thing:
Looking at my eyes (you may have to click on the picture to see it up close), I could actually see some sparkly eyeshadow, some eyeliner, and some makeup that didn't come all the way off my eyelashes. Something that you can't really see is how NOT greasy or oily the Shaklee eye make-up remover is. I could actually use the Shaklee product and not.even.have.to.wash my face afterwards - - it feels like using water...it's not oily, but it's also not drying, it doesn't sting my eyes (good since I wear contacts!), it doesn't have any scent, and (plus, plus!) it's all natural. I have a new makeup remover and I think that once you try this, you will feel the same way!! ...and all for $10!!
